Borter, Vice President / New Product Developer, for Davom Products, Inc., discovered the need for the Safety Cap when his youngest daughter and her friends, while playing house in the back yard, accidentally turned on the propane tank valve on the barbeque grill. Luckily, he smelled the propane, avoiding possible injuries. The Safety Cap concept was born.
